Anti-Inflammatory, Immune-Boosting Tea
When I’m sick, tea is my go-to drink. It’s warming, soothing, and just helps me feel better, even for just a moment. This tea includes turmeric and ginger, two powerhouse anti-inflammatory foods. I especially recommend this if you have body aches or a sore throat.
Ingredients
4 cups water
1.5 knobs turmeric
1 knob ginger (or more if you like some zing)
1/2 tsp peppercorns
Squirt to 1/2 lemon, squeezed
Honey, to taste (manuka is very healing!)
Instructions
Add water, turmeric, ginger, and peppercorns to a pot and simmer for about 5-10 minutes (longer simmer = stronger tea).
While that simmers, add honey & lemon to a mug.
When done, pour the hot water through a strainer into the mug.
Enjoy!

Any extra can be put in the fridge for another time.
